People dodging flying books anyone?  Uh no takers cool…

Every now and then I get on this kick of think that some inanimate object should be injected with magic to come to life, early in hobby it was trees that fought back.

Axe man gets near a pine tree and the tree grabs the axe from the axe man…

For some reason I think when a tome is injected with magic, it either takes the person in a figurative sense or comes alive and attacks the person..

I know that I’m male and have no business reading romance, well the normal variety anyway, yuck.  I like to sink my teeth into, no pun intended, paranormal Romance.  I noticed I like it when the supernatural got busy under the covers.  I recognized when I wrote this crazy scene a long time ago, my main character was practically a ghost, I forgot what reason.  He was hovering over his wife, and they managed to do things, my brain didn’t think physically possible.

It was ethereal and surreal and total shock to my system.  I was new to the whole writing as hobby learning how to weave seamless romance into my work.  I have found that working with the yin and yang of male and female adds a certain twist to my writings, more than just romance, men and women solve problems differently.  Also it is a matter of comfort, and knowing about male and female relationships and watching and learning how people develop close intimate relationships.

Anyhow, reading paranormal Romance helps with this learning curve in its own unique way.  I like it when Romance bites, sorry I can’t resist it.  I don’t go for boy and girl meet then fall in love and live happily ever after.  No it doesn’t work that way.  So into the dark I go.  I have read some of the Dark Series by Christine Feehan and enjoyed them.  I have started Anita Blake Series, that is a little hard for me to read being first person female point of view.  Well today after hunting near a year for I order the first of the Savannah Vampire series, Raven Hart.

So far first person male point of view.  I am enjoying it.  It fills that I am a Vampire.  I bite, I am dangerous and dark demon.  Both cursed and blessed by immortality.  It’s the sweetness of a vampire being a vampire, not walking the day, but the dead of night.  It is Vampire.

So far I have enjoyed it.  I love the city of Savannah, I live four hours away from it.  This piece of fiction is intoxicating.  Its like the music of the night.

It is one of those rare occasions, I find so hard to find in Fantasy, other than Brandon Sanderson, more on that in another more Fantasy-esque post for another day.  It literally sucks you in and won’t let you go.  I find it so hard that when my bar for reading is so high to find things I enjoy.

So as I go further, I won’t ruin but I will see if I remember to give complete review of it when I am done reading it.

I love my eclectic taste in reading.  It is much like my eclectic taste in music.
